A new WordPress plugin

My friends, the moment has arrived.
A new version of the Welcome Back plugin is here, this is the plugin page (the plugin’s name has changed, btw).

You can see the result on this blog, anyway :) but you would miss the configuration page.
Have a good upgrade, and enjoy the MBL script.

How I became a blogger

Note: to best appreciate this post, you’ll actually need to read it from my website: in a future article I’ll explain why. (Yes, WelcomeBack is coming ;-) and it’s related to this.)

What brought you to start a blog?
Friends. My first blog, in June 2005, was on an Italian blogging platform (Splinder) equivalent of Motime.com: that time a blog represented, for me, a bridge between me and my friends, who could know my thoughts and feelings almost everyday.
The strange thing about this definition, my reader, is that I keep believing it. I don’t believe in Splinder any more thou, as you probably know, because I found in a self-hosted WordPress installation the best solution for every purpose.

Your first post?
It starts with:

Well, so I’ve started a blog. I haven’t understood the reason of this yet: first, I don’t know what to write; second, I don’t even know if I want to write, and third, connecting to internet is expensive and my parents will kill me soon.

The post you are ashamed of?
It’s not being ashamed, believe me: once I wrote about Prodi (Italian current Prime Minister), and my article somehow was reported on libero.it (very popular Italian portal). I had tons of comments, mainly flames. But I believed and believe what I wrote in that post.

The post you are proud of?
It’s a hard question. First, I’ve got many posts I’m certainly -not- proud of, but choosing one in particular is very hard…

And you?
And you, my reader? Would you like to continue this meme? I’d like to know your answers! :)

Back writing [service post]

If you hate I-couldn’t-write-until-now type of posts, well, give up reading, new real articles are coming soon.

The impact with the new University world (I’m studying in Bicocca University of Milan, Italy) has been extremely exciting, but brought me to a loss of interests in blogging and programming related things, in other words a writing-block with no way out. The only thing worth mentioning is this asm program for MIPS 2000/3000.

But I’ve done the first exams, and I promised myself to start reading some feeds again (suggestions? I’ve lost all my feed list due to some problems with my computer), programming (I’ve got some new ideas I think you’d like), and then writing here, seriously.

Thank you for reading, anyway.
